Two people are dead inside an office building at I-635 near Central Expressway.
Police told local TV reporters that they responded to an active shooter call at about 10:10 Monday morning and on the 10th floor found the bodies of a female and male, dead from gunshots.
Several local businesses, including Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet school, were placed on lockdown as Dallas SWAT searched each floor of the building.
Police believe the male shot the female and then himself. She possibly was his employer. They plan to hold a press conference about the incident later. Names of the dead have not been released.
