It’s the second food-based biz to sign on at Creekside shopping center, future home of Alamo Drafthouse — Bahama Buck’s, whose new home will be 6780 Abrams, suite 107. Yesterday we told you about Mrs. Gridiron’s homestyle meal delivery service, also slated to open soon.
Bahama Buck’s is a Lubbock, Texas-based frozen tropical dessert eatery with franchises all over the United States. Area locations include Sachse, Rowlett and, as of yesterday, Far North Dallas.
Shaved-ice addicts (I am one of you) the ribbons of soft fluffy Sno generously flavored with our choice of 90-plus “property gourmet flavors” available at Bahama Bucks could easily become a problem for those who pass the place daily. Tread lightly.

Smoothies, sodas, mocha frostalattés, paradise fruit and even Sno 2 go all make up the menu here. So far we know it is slated to open in 2017.
