The Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA’s DREAM + INSPIRE + DESIGN HOME TOUR AND AUCTION kicks off Saturday, March 25, with brunch and an auction at 10 a.m.-noon at the Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Road. “Another Murder, Another Show” premieres at Bath House Cultural Center Thursday, March 23, and runs through Saturday. The kid-friendly show follows the adventures of Harry Hunsacker sleuthing out a 1940s murder mystery. Production begins at 8 p.m. nightly, and tickets are $10 online.
Lake House Bar & Grill celebrates four years in Lake Highlands with a big party Saturday, March 25, all day long. Brunch begins at 10 a.m. with food and drink specials and ongoing live entertainment. At 2 p.m. Dani K takes the stage, followed by the Cat Daddies at 4, Brent Best at 6 and, at 7:30, Weezing, a Weezer cover band brings down the house, and the party continues until midnight.

It’s the last weekend to see ‘Jack and the Beanstalk,’ Kathy Burks and her troupe’s take on the classic fairytale. The performance, geared toward children ages 4 and older, features appearances from the likes of the Man on the Moon and a chatty hen, at Dallas Children’s Theater, 5938 Skillman.
