Desmond Roland at Oklahoma State University

Desmond Roland, former Wildcat football star and standout for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, has signed to play for the Dallas Marshals indoor football team. The Dallas Marshals play in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League, based in Mesquite.

D-Ro, as he was known before graduating from Lake Highlands High School in 2011, is a 6’2” 210 running back. He had multiple game-changing performances during his high school and college careers, including the 2013 Heart of Dallas Bowl and the 2014 “Bedlam” game against OU.

The Marshals play in Mesquite Arena, home of Mesquite Championship Rodeo. They have a preseason game at home Feb. 18th at 7:05 p.m. against the Arlington Longhorns, and the regular season kicks off March 4th with a home game against the Centex Cavalry.
