Because of poor weather canceled the event last week, the Dallas Arboretum is open this weekend with a holiday market. There will be tons of gifts and decorations to fill your needs this holiday season. The market is open Dec. 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free with the price of admission.

Don’t forget about lights this year and check out the 12 days of Christmas on Timber Hollow Circle. Take a stop in this cul-de-sac and enjoy the festive lights and decorations that coordinate with the classic carol, from a partridge and a pear tree to 12 lords a leaping.

This Saturday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m to 2 p.m, enjoy this local holiday market for all your holiday season needs. The market is held in the parking lot of Lakeside Baptist Church. Get locally produced gifts and goodies for the holiday season. For more information, click here.

Head on over to Half Price Books this Saturday, Dec. 10, for free family fun. The book store will be popping popcorn for the weekly Holiday Family Movie from 4-6 p.m. The movie selection is posted in the store.
