The Lake Highlands High School basketball teams will host a first-ever Tip Off event Wednesday, Nov. 2 to start the season and give Wildcat sports fans a chance to meet members of the boys’ and girls’ teams. There will be a 3-point shootout, free t-shirts for students and performances by the Highlandettes, Cheerleaders and Wranglers. Before the scrimmage begins, the team will also show off their skills in a dunking contest, and they’ll take photos with fans.

The fun begins in the LHHS big gym at 7 p.m. and the event is free.

If you want to see the Cats in action, the varsity men’s team will travel to Southlake on Saturday, Nov. 5 for a scrimmage and Lakeview Centennial will come to LH to play on Tues., Nov. 14. The Lady Cats face Garland High here on Friday, Nov. 4. The boys’ full schedule is here and the girls’ schedule is here. Go Cats!
