28th annual Dia de Los Muertos exhibition at the Bath House Cultural Center

Dia de Los Muertos exhibition at the Bath House Cultural Center

For its 30th anniversary, the Bath House Cultural Center is celebrating Dia de los Muertos by honoring some of the world’s famed artists, including Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, Salvador Dalí, Prince, Freddy Fender, Juan Gabriel, Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allan Poe. To celebrate the Mexican holiday, which honors deceased loved ones, local artists have created a wide range of memorial artwork that will be on display through Nov. 12, and there is no cost to attend.

It’s your last chance to see “Seussical the Musical” at the Dallas Children’s Theater. The beloved family show wraps up this Sunday. Tickets are $17-$25 and available here.

Also wrapping up this weekend is “Breadcrumbs,” the story of a reclusive fiction author who must open up to her caretaker to complete her autobiography. Produced by WingSpan Theatre Company, shows are set for Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20-$25 and available here. All showings take place at the Bath House Cultural Center.

St. James Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays in October. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to the youth ministry to help endorse mission trips by giving scholarships.
