It may be the simplest and smartest charity ever created, and this weekend, Pamper Lake Highlands is inviting you to help.

Saturday, Aug. 27th, Pamper LH will host an All-Community Diaper Drive from 12-4 p.m. in the parking lot of Lake Highlands Creamery. The goal? To collect as many diapers as possible for distribution to needy families all over LH. Along with LH Creamery, the event is sponsored by Dallas City Councilman Adam McGough.

“For each pack of diapers you donate,” says the group’s Facebook page, “you will receive one raffle ticket to enter our raffle of fun prizes.”

Since Caren Bright founded the organization more than 3 years ago, Pamper LH has expanded to provide English classes, bible studies, parenting classes and a broad range of support services to moms, children and families in LH.

Distribution of the diapers will take place at their 3rd Annual Community Outreach September 10th and during classes. LH Creamery is located in the southeast corner of Audelia and Walnut Hill.
