The Houston-based homebuilder is requesting a zoning amendment for the 1.9-acre tract. Few details about the proposed development are available so far, but the builder will provide six guest parking spaces, in addition to parking for residents.
David Weekly Homes has several other townhome projects underway in the Dallas area, including a development of 40 homes on a 2-acre tract in the Cedars, just south of Downtown. The builder also has in the works about 53 homes in Oak Cliff, plus five or six other developments in the suburbs.
The Dallas City Plan Commission could approve the zoning change in its regular meeting Thursday and then the proposal would move to City Council for final approval.
