Fire engine 22 fled to the scene of a fire burning a two-story apartment building in the 14000 block of Peyton Drive, near I-635 and Central. There first responders discovered, near the front door of unit 207, the body of a young grandmother, 48-year-old Maria Arteaga-Manuel. Neighbors (via social media) say she lived there with possibly three family members but was home alone at the time of the fire.
