The annual Red-White football game is a time of endless possibilities. It’s a time to imagine the mighty Wildcats making it all the way to state. It’s a time to envision the marching band and the Highlandettes performing under Friday night lights. It’s a time to hear the familiar clanging of the Bell Boys celebrating another Wildcat touchdown.

Don’t miss the fun of this year’s event when the Red White game is held Saturday, May 14th at Wildcat Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:30, but pregame is the best part, as Bob Johnston and Doug Williams introduce the departing senior football players and tell where they’re going to school in the fall. The entire first half is a send-off, of sorts, with senior cheerleaders, Dettes, band members and Bell Boys revealing where they’ll go to college, then passing the torch at halftime to next year’s senior leaders.

(Bring a Kleenex in case you sit next to a senior mom.)

The Exchange Club will host a free hot dog picnic out on the turf following the game (about 4 p.m.), and all LH families are welcome.
