Ionmesquite.com is reporting that police now have a suspect in custody for this and another neighborhood assault that took place on Forest Lane near Greenville the previous spring.

“Thirty-six-year-old Latorien DeShiek Williams was already in the county jail following his December arrest for a September 2015 sexual assault of a child but Dallas police announced on Jan. 19 that he is now facing two additional sexual assault charges for a pair of rapes in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas,” reports Kent Miller.

“His bond has been set at $300,000 and his arrest record also includes charges of theft over $50 (for which he pleaded guilty) and theft enhanced. The two new charges stem from rapes that happened in May 2014 and January 2015. Williams, according to the Dallas Police Department, was connected to the crimes through DNA evidence.”

The story continues, “according to an arrest affidavit, a man now identified as Williams pointed a gun at a woman early on May 30, 2014 in a hotel parking lot in Lake Highlands and ordered her into his car. The victim said the man told her he had just gotten out of jail and wanted sex and drove to an apartment complex on Forest Lane where the assault took place.”

The other victim reportedly was waiting at a bus stop and accepted a ride from the suspect, who then reportedly attacked her.
