Caitlyn Bosch, Blake Cronin, Steffany Salazar and Duncan Meara were honored by the LH Exchange Club

The Exchange Club honored four outstanding Lake Highlands High School students at their weekly meeting Friday. Caitlyn Bosch and Blake Cronin received Character Counts awards and Steffany Salazar and Duncan Meara were named Youth of the Month.

Caitlyn is the daughter of Matt and Diane Bosch. She performs with Espree, the pop singing group, and is a member of Girls Service League, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Red Cross Club and Mu Alpha Theta. She is a member of the Honors Choir and was selected to the All-Region Choir and first alternate to All-State. She competes with the Wildcat cross country team, has a job at CrossFit and attends North Highlands Bible Church. She plans to study nursing at the University of Arkansas.

Blake is the son of Bill and Lizzy Cronin. He was captain of the Wildcat football team and serves as VP of the Student Council. He participates in Young Life, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Red Cross Club and Young Republicans. He also runs track and enjoys basketball, rock climbing and snowboarding. He plans to study architecture at either USC or UCLA.

Steffany is the daughter of Sara Salazar. Steffany served as drum major of the Wildcat Marching Band for two years and is a member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the Feminist Club. She enjoys listening to music and is a member of the Kiss Me Kate musical pit. She plays clarinet in the band and was selected for All-Region. She will study business and math at either Texas A&M, Texas Tech or Baylor.

Duncan is the son of Thomas and Kimberly Meara. He is an AP Ambassador and member of the Academic Decathlon team. He is in National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National Spanish Honor Society, Science Club and the Anime and Gaming Club. He’s a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and he plays select soccer and volunteers with the Lake Highlands Elementary Chess Club. He wants to study physics and is considering several college options.

She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award.
