One of our Advocate staffers’ homes, in Rowlett, located just a few miles east of Lake Highlands, was caught right in the middle of Saturday’s tornado destruction. A fellow Advocate employee assisting with neighborhood cleanup today shared with us this photo of one of the ruined homes in the area.
They also share this collection of ways to help the victims of this disaster that hit so close to home.
