Paul Reyes, the guy who came some 30 votes short of becoming our District 10 city council representative, is the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association‘s new executive director of the Alliance of Neighborhood Homeowner Associations.
If you are active in your homeowners association, you’ll likely see him at an upcoming meeting.
“His primary focus will be to help build strong communities focused on the future of Lake Highlands,” notes LHAIA president Murray Morgan. “He will work directly with homeowner associations. He and his team will be attending local HOA meetings, communicating with the association [leaders and members], working to help strengthen their operations through best practices [in relation to] rezoning and development issues and opportunities.”
The bulk of Reyes’ experience revolves around working with HOAs. Paul serves is the executive vice president and chief legal officer of Associa, the largest residential realty management firm in North Texas with more than 9,000 employees, according to his 2015 campaign literature.
