The college application process can be daunting, to say the least.
Allison Venuto, author and a recognized expert at helping students and parents streamline college application efforts, will give a free lecture in Lake Highlands next week.
The Thursday, Sept. 10 class begins at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 9807 Church and aims to help high school seniors who plan to apply to colleges this year — where and when to start, navigating timelines and deadlines, financial aid and more.
Venuto owns and operates a neighborhood personal organization service called Ducks in a Row. She insists that life, including gaining acceptance to your choice school, “does not need to be overwhelming.”
