Dramatic video shows two young men robbing a 7-11 clerk at gunpoint. They later went on to injure and nearly kill another victim. They are armed and terrorizing neighborhood convenience store clerks. Police are asking the public’s help in finding and arresting them, before things escalate even further.
7-11 footage turned over to police clearly shows two black males, both wearing hats — one a plain, dark cap and the other an American-flag boat hat — pointing a pistol at a cashier and stealing the contents of the cash register.
Police experts estimate they are age 17 to 25, each about 5’8 and 170 pounds.
These suspects could be easily identified by anyone who knows them, so have a look.
Police want them in connection with at least four robberies and one violent assault in the northeast and East Dallas areas.
At about 5:45 a.m. August 21, the two robbed the 7-11 on Abrams at Northwest Highway using two semi-automatic pistols. Then they personally robbed the clerk, going through his pockets as he lay on the ground. Within four hours of that robbery, the duo robbed four other stores in similar fashion, police say.
By the final reported robbery, the crimes escalated. On August 23, the criminals reportedly returned to the scene of one of their August 21 robberies, a gas station on Shiloh, where the clerk immediately recognized them, according to police reports. At that time, one of the suspects beat the clerk over the head with a gun, which discharged during the attack. The bullet grazed the clerk’s head. He was last reported to be in stable condition at Baylor.
