Exchange Club members honored March Character Counts awardees and Youth of the Month on Friday, singing their praises and applauding their accomplishments. Lake Highlands High School Principal Frank Miller was on hand to personally attest to the many ways in which the students have proven themselves outstanding.

Youth of the Month were Annelisa Wright and Alex Little. April Anderson and James Perkins received Character Counts awards.

Also attending were all three Richardson ISD trustee candidates, who’ll take office in May since they are running unopposed. Jean Bono, Eron Linn and incumbent board president Kim Caston introduced themselves and shared a few reasons they wish to serve the district.

The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 10110 Shoreview.

She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
