The Pamper Lake Highlands organization is hosting a community event Saturday, March 14 to serve needy families in our community. They’ve organized tents and tables, distributed thousands of donated flyers and recruited a host of volunteers to distribute the 28,000 collected diapers (so far) and offer lunch. Their goal is 40,000 diapers.
If you know of a family in need of help, direct them to the event March 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Whitehurst and Skillman (near the LHUMC’s New Room).
If you’d like to help, you can volunteer via this Signup Genius or simply show up and jump in. If you’d like to make a donation, click here and your contribution will purchase diapers or other basic needs for an LH family. Diapers are also being collected at Nathan Grace Real Estate, Walnut Hill and Audelia.
