We posted last week about two scheduled events with District 10’s city council candidates.
The meet and greet slated for tonight has been postponed due to icy weather. From the Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association:
Due to the inclement weather, possible school closing, and the uncertainty of the roads re-freezing Thursday evening, LHAIA has decided to err on the side of caution and cancel Thursday’s Meet the Candidates meeting. We are working to coordinate another date the week of March 16th (RISD is closed for Spring Break next week). I’ll keep you posted.
All of us at LHAIA were looking forward to this meeting and regret any inconvenience this cancellation may cause.
