LHE reusable bag
Whether Dallas County’s new 5-cent tax on bags has you frustrated at the inconvenience or satisfied at the reduction in pollution, you’re likely looking for alternate solutions. Now you can be green and support the Cats, all at the same time.
Lake Highlands Elementary is selling this reusable bag in the school office, and the design, with hip red chevron, Wildcat logo and “Lake Highlands, Texas” slogan, was created by LHE alum Andrea Cochran. The cost is 2 for $15, and proceeds benefit the school. You can pick up your bag in the LHE front office at 9501 Ferndale.
Now you just have to remember to take the bag into the store.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award.
