Paint for charity
Pinot’s Palette in Hillside Village is dedicating two painting classes to charities this Friday and Sunday. For every guest that attends Pinot’s Palette on Nov. 7, $15 will be donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation. Cost is $45 per person. Call 214.827.4668 to learn more.

On Saturday lend a hand to help keep our neighborhood lake clean at the For the Love of the Lake’s Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-up. Stop by the organization’s office (381 Casa Linda Plaza) anytime between 8 a.m.-noon to pick up cleaning supplies, along with free coffee and goodies from Another Broken Egg. Makers Connect hosts a trunk show featuring the latest creations from local artists Susan Morgan and Linda Nickerson this Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.. Pieces include “Read with me” quilts and hand-painted glass Christmas tree ornaments. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
