Ready to simplify your life and clean out your closets? Hoping to spruce up your home with some bargain finds? Whether you’re downsizing or adding to your collections, the Lake Highlands Highlandettes are ready to help with their upcoming annual garage sale.
The drill team fundraiser, which features furniture, housewares, electronics, sporting goods, clothing, handbags and other fun items from more than 50 LH families, will be held Saturday, August 23rd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the LHHS gym. A pre-sale Friday night from 9-10 p.m. is exclusive to those willing to donate $5 to the Dettes.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
