Audrey Vlk with her sister and brother
Audrey Vlk finally made it – her senior year is here. The 17-year-old is ready to plan college visits, high school dances – even summer vacation – but there’s a hitch. Audrey is battling leukemia.
“Audrey is the daughter of Pat and Terry Vlk,” said Tim King, Knights of Columbus’ blood drive coordinator, “and the Vlks are a wonderful, generous Lake Highlands family, always ready to help at a moment’s notice. They need our help.”
The Lake Highlands Council of Knights of Columbus is hosting a blood drive for the Bishop Lynch student all day Saturday, June 21st at KC Hall, 10110 Shoreview. Walk-ins are welcome but they prefer that you click on this easy link to find an open slot and sign up.
