I was picnicking at White Rock Lake with a group of friends on Sunday when all conversation came to a jolting halt.
“Is that a car?” one of my groupmates asked, pointing towards the middle of the lake. We all stood up to have a looksie.
Sure enough, a baby blue, vintage car was trundling along, cutting through the short waves. We hurried to the dock to get a better view, watching as the car drew closer. As we stood gawking, the car cruised right past our perch on the dock. The driver pulled up to the loading ramp and drove out of the water with ease. Then, before I had a chance to put my jaw back in place and run to catch his name, he whipped around, drove right back in, waved and drove off.
Have you seen this amphibious vehicle at White Rock Lake? Check out the video below, and let us know if you know who the driver is.
