- Park Tavern hosts a four-course dinner featuring beers from Upslope Brewing Company on Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. Pairings include grilled rainbow trout with a Belgian-style pale ale and tiramisu served with brown ale. - This Saturday at 7 p.m., attend East Lake Pet Orphanage’s annual Wine on the Roof soiree to benefit the animals at the pet orphanage. As you sip on your wine glass under the stars, a few pooches will take to the runway in festive garb for the occasion and there’s a raffle with prizes too. - On Tuesday, May 6, Consumer Credit Services will host “Grocery Shopping and Coupon Savvy,” a free class at the Lake Highlands YMCA, as a part of the Lake Highlands Financial Stability Initiative.
