Winners from 2013

Students from Kindergarten thru high school are invited to submit original artwork to compete in a financial literacy poster contest sponsored by the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS) and Friends of Consumer Freedom. This year’s theme is “Money at Work – Constructing Your Financial Future,” and the deadline is April 24.

The contest is designed to help educate young Texans about the importance of sound money management, and a judging panel comprised of financial literacy experts will choose one winner from each grade category. The grand prize winner will receive $150, and $150 will go to his/her teacher.

Official entry forms and contest rules can be found here.

“We are excited to celebrate Financial Literacy Month in April and Financial Fitness DFW by partnering with Friends of Consumer Freedom and hosting a poster contest for North Texas students,” said Todd Mark, vice president of education for CCCS of Greater Dallas. “We believe by offering a fun and creative way to learn and explore financial literacy, our children are more likely to become interested in developing sound money management plans in the future.”

Entries may be mailed to Ginger Greenberg, Director of Communications & PR, CCCS of Greater Dallas, 8737 King George Drive, Dallas, TX 75235.
