CBS 11 reports that event parking at White Rock Lake can be particularly troublesome, and it may become even more so as a result of new parking rules enforced by the city of Dallas, which we reported on earlier this week. Outspoken community activist, Ted Barker, told CBS, “We’re trying to protect the park land itself and vehicles and park land just don’t mix.”
CultureMap summed up a festive Park Cities soiree benefiting the Dallas Children’s Theater, which included a Hawaiian luau dance lesson, mingling with Dallas actress Linda Gray, plus a performance by the Dallas Youth Repertory Project.
