The 8-story, 100-bed hospital will offer cardiology, gynecological and general surgery, imaging, emergency and intensive care services.

Founders say that a driving force behind opening the medical facility has been the desire to implement strong partnership between physicians, administration, staff and the community.

In a released statement CEO Cory Countryman says:

“More than 10 years ago, a group of innovative health care leaders… envisioned a place where health care providers could come together as a community to care for patients and each other. Combining the latest in medical technology with world-class customer service, our founders felt that they could create a special place where they could improve health and enrich lives. The opportunity to develop a brand new hospital comes along once in a lifetime. I’m especially gratified that we’re creating an environment where everyone is empowered to take the best care of patients.”

Registered nurses interested in working at the hospital can attend job fairs either this Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon or Tuesday, March 11, from 6-8 p.m. Applicants are requested to RSVP in advance by calling 972.863.6000 or sending an email to Careers@WalnutHillMC.com.
