Emmy-nominated Linda Gray — known for her role as “Sue Ellen” on both TNT’s redo of “Dallas,” currently in its third season, as well as her role in the original “Dallas” which began airing in 1978 — will be the the honorary celebrity chairperson of the Dallas Children Theater’s Girls Party on April 3, GuideLive reports.

LHagman-at-DCT-e1352734437419Funds from the Girls Party help DCT offer discounted tickets to more than 50,000 students and teachers, as well as help operating costs for the theater, according to the DCT websiteClick here to purchase tickets or help sponsor. Tickets for the Girls Party cost $150 each.

Also, here’s some heartwarming trivia: Gray isn’t the only “Dallas” actor with an affinity for the DCT. Back in Nov. 2012, Larry Hagman, (who played  J.R. Ewing in the television series,) visited the theater to attend a Pinkalicious performance. He toured the facility, interacted with the children and donated $25,000, just weeks before passing away at age 81.
