Guys and DollsLake Highlands United Methodist Church’s Artists of Christian Talent (ACT) will present Guys and Dolls for the next two weekends. The musical, which premiered on Broadway in 1950 and is well-known for the movie with Jean Simmons, Marlon Brando, Vivian Blaine and Frank Sinatra is the story of mission doll Sarah Brown, slick gambler Sky Masterson, nightclub performer Adelaide and high-roller Nathan Detroit.

The ACT production will feature more than 50 Lake Highlands students from 7-12th grades performing on stage, with more participating backstage as lighting, tech and makeup crew.

Performances will be held at the church Feb. 14, 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m., and there’s a Sunday matinee on Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are on sale each Wednesday at LHUMC from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings between church services. Tickets purchased in advance are $8, and (when not sold-out) tickets at the door are $10.
