If you are among the 40,000 or so folks tackling the 8-mile YMCA Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Thursday, look for Lake Highlands-based gal band Merry and the Mood Swings at the Harwood Pacific intersection. If you’ve yet to register, it’s not too late.
The Bath House Cultural Center’s “Forest, Feathers, and Fur,” features acrylic paintings by Roxanne Mather. It’s running through Dec. 7. Check out the website for more. The Trains at NorthPark rolling now through New Year’s Day. Elaborate toy trains traverse 1,600 feet of track through replica cityscapes. The exhibit, benefitting Ronald McDonald House, is open daily with limited hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
