Pie Five is the fast, fresh pizza concept by the folks at Pizza Inn, and there’s a new shop going in on Greenville Avenue near Southwestern on the western edges of Lake Highlands.
Pie Five, which is technically relocating their Knox and 75 store to 5927 Greenville, promises to make “every pizza lover a creative genius” by offering your own “design-tech” to make your 9-inch pie using never-frozen ingredients. Your creation, chosen from a variety of crusts, sauces and toppings, is flash-baked and ready within 5 minutes. (They also make cookie pies in chocolate chip and other flavors.)
The new restaurant was interviewing employees when I peeked in yesterday and plans to open Monday, October 7. They’ll be between Jamba Juice and the newly opened Snappy Salads.
