Four members of the Lake Highlands High School graduating class of 2014 have been named National Merit Semifinalists based on outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT test.  Bonnie Johnson, Kaylee Kaigler, Kelsey Kaigler (her twin) and Griffin Milan are among  16,000 students nationally to be named semifinalists, from more than 1.5 million students who participated. (I don’t have a photo of the newly announced scholars, but three of the four are shown in this pic of senior class officers.)

Richardson ISD had nine semifinalists – four from LH, four from Pearce and one from Richardson.

Semifinalists will now take the SAT, and National Merit Finalists, to be named in February, will be eligible for thousands of dollars in scholarships.

Congratulations, Wildcats!
