Orville Rogers, from a 2011 Lakewood/East Dallas Advocate story featuring WWII vets: Can Turkyilmaz
White Rock area resident Orville Rogers was featured in our Lakewood magazine a couple of years ago in a story about WWII veterans. This month, at 95, Orville appears on the pages of the national magazine Runner’s World for setting seven age-group running records this year.
We are looking for more neighborhood residents like Orville — people 80 or older who decidedly do not act their age.
