I’m a little ashamed I didn’t catch this earlier, but better late than never. Earlier this spring we wrote in our monthly Lakewood/East Dallas magazine, about White Rock area resident Stephanie Mahaffey and the kiddie hair balm she invented called Hip Peas.

The product so far mostly is purchased either online, on salon shelves or in Frisco (among other far-away places) but luckily for Lake Highlands’ tangly haired kiddos and their caregivers, Hip Peas is available at the maternity and baby consignment store Ra Ra’s Closet, located in Northlake Shopping Center. In fact, the shop exclusively sells local lines, plus gently used mother and child clothing, and is 100-percent worth a visit.
