Victim in shooting on Arbor Park in Lake Highlands, now hospitalized, hung on long enough to describe his assailant to police.
At midnight Friday, police responded to a gunshot call.
In the 9400 block of Arbor Park, they found a bloody man in the road, surrounded by shell casings.
The injured man, 30-year-old Guillermo Rayas, reportedly told officers at the scene that earlier that night he had argued with a guy. That person reportedly followed and shot him.

Rayas even was able to provide a license plate number for the suspected shooter, which seemingly would require an astonishing presence of mind. Police located the suspect’s vehicle at a nearby apartment complex and took someone in for questioning. Rayas was transported to Baylor Medical Center where he reportedly was in critical condition.
