The Art and Play Festival is coming to Watercrest Park at the Town Center on Memorial Day.
In a previous post Carol Toler highlighted the 5K Come Out and Play Run that will benefit Camp Sweeney, a diabetes educational facility in Gainesville.
The festival will be hosted by our Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (PID). Counselors from Camp Sweeney will be on hand to maximize the art and the play aspect of the event for kids. And — to answer the question on everybody’s mind —
Yes, there will be food trucks.
Parents will be able to purchase a $10 “Score Card” which will be punched at the various booths and activities.
There is no parking fee but PID Executive Director Rebecca Range says there will be a “Bike Valet” where riders can check bikes.
