The Wildcat Water Polo Team competed in the school’s first ever water polo regional tournament this weekend. The competition was held at Southlake High School and the Lady Cats were coached by Kyle Horne, who also leads the LHHS Swim Team.
Lake Highlands defeated Irving MacArthur Friday night, but fell to Denton Ryan and Rockwall High in matches Saturday.
Competing for the Cats were: Emma Riley, Alejandra Rivera, Gisela Rivera, Sydney Lacey, Linda Carvajal, Kaila Tokar, Elizabeth Hurt and Madison Monzingo.
The following girls were named to the All-Region team: Sydney Lacey 2nd team, Madison Monzingo 3rd team, Kaila Tokar 3rd team.
