Apparently a month of “Pinkalicious” wasn’t quite enough for play-goers. The Dallas Children’s Theater added some extra shows. The new final performances will be Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. both days. The DCT expects tickets, which you can buy online, to sell out.
If you’re not familiar with the children’s book, the main character contracts Pinkitis and learns to add some other healthy colors to her cupcake diet. In September, Pinkalicious made the rounds to Vickery Meadow Community Gardens and Stonewall Gardens to recognize students for choosing to mix healthy greens into their lives.
The performance features some costume designs of Hockaday fifth grader Lily Forbes.
