Lake Highlands Automotive will host their 1st Annual Car & Bike Show Saturday, October 27th at their shop at Audelia and Royal. Jordon Baker says there’ll be trophies for the 1st and 2nd place winners and plenty of other giveaways.

“Our goal is to show our support of the neighborhood we all love,” Jordon told me. “We are approaching our 25th year in business and my dad’s 50th year of automotive service right here in Lake Highlands.”

Reg Baker opened Lake Highlands Automotive in 1989.

There’s no cost to enter your car or motorcycle, and each contestant will be passing out candy to the kids who come trick or treating to each vehicle. All costumes are welcome, Jordon says, and he’s hoping to spark a passion for old vehicles in the kids who come with their families to check out the show.

There will also be a raffle, with a variety of prizes and drawings throughout the day. The event is from 10am to 3pm and all entries are welcome. Contact Jordon at 214-348-8181 to enter. Lake Highlands Automotive is located at 10702 Audelia.
