Looking for a place to hear live music this weekend? You can catch the LH band Remedy Saturday night at Lone Star Roadhouse and still keep up with all the college football and Ranger baseball on their big screen TVs.
Remedy is mostly LH dads, including local dentist Greg Smith on lead guitar, Bill Barfoot on vocals, guitar, harmonica and tambourine, and Gary Krumbholz on keyboards, vocals and guitar. They cover a wide variety of popular and classic artists and songs, from Maroon 5 to Van Morrison, from the Eagles to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with a little Garth Brooks thrown in for good measure.
Lone Star Roadhouse is more bar than restaurant, but they do offer appetizers, salads, burgers and steaks. They have five plasma TVs to enjoy gameday, and if you’ve picked up any moves from watching the Wildcat Wranglers all these years, you can take a spin on their dance floor.
Lone Star Roadhouse is located at the NW corner of Jupiter and Northwest Highway.
