You might remember him as the illustrator of the Lake Highlands-author-penned “Creating Grand Memories”.

At the request of Park Board member Joan Walne, Jones recently donated a painting to the rec center, where he spent so many days.

Jones, also known as Sir Colby since high school, keeps a blog, which contains some impressive examples of his artwork.

Side note, Jones also was on a state championship soccer team in the 60s and became a coach and referee  in his later years.

He sings on the church choir too, but “not loud enough to ruin the music”. Cute.
