Several Wildcats have earned spots on the 9-5A All-District soccer teams.

For the girls, Maggie Olvera has been named Defensive Player of the Year and Brinkley Field was crowned Offensive Player of the Year. Maggie will play at Trinity University in the fall and Brinkley will suit up for the Longhorns. Sophomore Delanie Davis, who’s already committed to play at Baylor, was named 1st team All-District playing defender. Tapped for the second team were senior Madison Vessel, who’ll play for the University of Montana, senior Ashley Brandish, junior Sarah Shaw, junior Lena Anderson and sophomore Chandler Frumin.

Sophomore Grant Norris earned a spot on the 1st team for the boys playing defender, and Wes Osborn (midfielder) and Joel Mendoza (forward) were named 2nd team. Turner Doggett and Andrew Munoz earned honorable mention.

She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
