Lake Highlands High School senior Stephanie Eyocko has been overwhelmed with much-deserved awards and honors this week, according to her LHHS counselor Shameka Brackens. Today, Dell announced that Stephanie is the recipient of the $20,000 Dell Scholarship ($5,000 per year for her four years at the University of Oklahoma), plus she’ll be presented with a Dell laptop.
Over the weekend, Stephanie won the Miss P.E.A.R.L. (Poised, Elegant And Responsible Leader) of Dallas Inner-Beauty Scholarship Pageant, which earned another $3,000 scholarship. Participants were judged on academic achievement, public speaking skills, civic engagement and leadership abilities.
Stephanie previously earned $1,000 per year for 4 years when she won the Young Woman in Public Affairs Award, and she was named a Good Kid by the Dallas Morning News. Congratulations, Stephanie!
