Dallas police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects responsible for the brutal attack on a store clerk at China Store/ China Kitchen at Shady Brook and Park.
It happened a couple weeks ago, but police have recently released this video surveillance of a couple who stole two cans of beer from the shop at about 10:40 p.m. Jan. 31. When they exited the store, the clerk ran after them. Outside the store, the male suspect reportedly beat the clerk severely.
The store is in the Vickery Meadow area, north of Half Price Books. The neighborhood for years has appeared on the annual Dallas Police Department violent-crime hotspots list.
