Five Lake Highlands High School students have been selected for the Texas All-State Choir. Seniors Mary Ellen Kidd, Parker Starr and Spencer Wood and juniors Siobhan Kelley and Blake Lueder earned the right to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association convention on February 11 in San Antonio. Senior Jordan Chumbley was chosen as an alternate.
The Wildcat choral students, under the direction of Michael O’Hern and Terry Berrier, competed in the final round of competition Saturday at Texas A&M University-Commerce after multiple contests against thousands of high school students from across the state.
