If you were out partying New Year’s Eve (or if you were out like a light), you may have missed Richardson ISD’s J.J. Pearce grad Chris Pearson and his band Sleeperstar performing to big crowds at the Big D NYE celebration in the American Airlines Center plaza. This video was compiled and posted by Drew Cotten, who’s worked closely with the band and attended Highlander School in LH.
What with winning last year’s Fast Track to Fame contest, performing for this and other high-profile concerts, releasing their newest album “Just Another Ghost” and being featured on the new Tom Hanks movie trailer “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” Sleeperstar looks to be on a rapid rise.
