The game may be called Powder Puff, but don’t be fooled. Girls in Lake Highlands take football seriously, whether they’re cheering from the sidelines or playing in the annual Powder Puff fundraiser Sunday for the senior class. This year’s event will be special, since the game will be played at The Boneyard instead of the B Field as in the past.

Girls sign up at school to play, and tickets for spectators are $5 at the door. Kickoff for the Seniors versus Sophomores is at 1pm, and the Juniors play the Freshmen at 2. The championship will be determined at 3, with the Seniors looking to hold onto their traditional title. Go Lady Cats!
