It’s Homecoming in Lake Highlands, as the Wildcats take on Sunset at The Boneyard and returning alums revisit their old stomping grounds. Festivities tonight will be extra special, with the Highlandette drill team celebrating their 50th year with a pre-game picnic at the new Rec Center pavilion.
Tomorrow night’s Homecoming Dance has the kids dressing up as famous couples, since LH (unlike most high schools) has a costume theme for the big night instead having the kids wear fancy duds. The dance follows Varsity Revue, the all-school variety show featuring school groups, solo performers and garage bands with breakout performances. Tickets are available at the door and the curtain goes up at 6 pm.
